Cozy condo, perfect location

My wife and I were in need of a furnished 1-bedroom apartment or condo for three months in the Philadelphia area. We looked at VRBO and Air B&B but the options were quite limited. We found Juan's condo on Furnished Finder. The vetting process for property owners and tenants gave us a level of confidence that we would have a positive experience and that turned out to be true. Juan was very responsive and was always available to answer questions. The condo location is great. The Fishtown neighborhood has shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a great gym and a full service grocery store a 10 minute walk away. The condo itself was clean and well maintained. The space is compact, but well laid out and perfect for two people.

My stay

My stay in the Fishtown Blue Jay was fantastic. I had just moved here temporarily for work and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment was in great shape when I got there, and Juan made it very easy to move in. Juan was an amazing landlord who was very easy to get ahold of if ever needed. He had answers to any questions had and took very good care of the apartment before and while I stayed with any issues that may have arose. The parking garage was super convenient considering the difficulty to find parking around the area. The apartment itself is also in a great location to restaurants, bars and many other cool spots!

Great Place and Location!

I stayed at this property for about 5 months, and I loved my time here! Juan is an accommodating and attentive landlord and is always easy to reach. The apartment itself is modern/updated and has a lot of storage space. It is located in a secure building and has included parking, which is a huge plus! The building has a great rooftop deck and is located just a few blocks from the main attractions in Fishtown. Juan was very flexible to work with me on a lease term, and the entire process of moving in and out was very smooth. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Fishtown!

Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful stay at the Fishtown Blue Jay! My husband and I visit our daughter every year, and it's great having a home base during our stay. Juan was an amazing & attentive host, and we loved communicating with him. The apartment itself has everything you'd need & includes parking, which is a must in the area! The building is an enclosed community, which feels like a green sanctuary. We loved having our morning coffee on the rooftop looking onto the Philadelphia skyline. The apartment is well proportioned and perfect for a couple, or single traveller. You're located close to the best restaurants, coffee shops (check out La Colombe!), and bars! It's safe, family-friendly and yet you're close to all the fun things Fishtown has to offer. If you're coming to Philadelphia, you have to stay at the Fishtown Blue Jay!

Home Away from Home

We had a beautiful stay at the Fishtown Blue Jay! My husband and I come to Philadelphia for a few months a year to visit our daughter and this is the perfect home base. It has everything you need including parking which is a must in the area! The apartment is perfect if you're traveling alone or as a couple. It's located in an enclosed community with lots of greenery & rooftop space. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee while looking at the Philadelphia skyline. You're also conveniently located near world-class restaurants, bars, coffee shops and transport. The area is very family-friendly, safe and yet close to all of the best of Fishtown. Juan is an amazing, caring host and we really enjoyed communicating with him. If you're coming to Philadelphia, Fishtown is where you want to be!

Fishtown's Finest

This property was a great place to stay in Philly! its not the biggest but it is SAFE! which was my main concern when coming to a big city like Philadelphia. J is an awesome land lord, very friendly, very attentive, i had zero problems at this property. the garage is a BIG deal with this property because without it finding parking would be a nightmare! you will be very close to some amazing around Fishtown. be sure to check out pizza smakamaxons and the Columbia coffee house which is a 5 min walk if your slow. at this property you will see a lot of families walking around with their children and many many dogs. if your looking for Fishtown, this is a great place to stay. my girlfriend and i stayed here for 3 months and we were a little cramped together but we really appreciated us and our car being safe. sorry it took me so long to write a review J!

Perfect Stay

My stay in the Fishtown Blue Jay could not have been better! Juan was an incredible host - very receptive if anything was needed (which was not often at all) yet gave the privacy that you want when renting. As for the apartment itself: I think I could have gotten by without bringing anything from home aside from clothes if needed. The apartment was very well stocked upon arrival with all the bed linens, blankets, kitchen cookware, and appliances that you could need. It really did feel like a home during my short stay there (which is something I cannot say about every FurnishedFinder apartment that I have stayed at). As for the location: Fishtown is a really cool and young area where it seems there is always something going on. The residential area around the apartment felt very safe the entire time, even when walking home at night. There are a lot of good restaurant options around for takeout and the subway line is only a 5 minute walk away and can take you to center city. Great stay
