Beautiful spot
My husband and I moved to Rutland and landed in this gorgeous home on this happy street. The home is immaculate and well appointed along with being beautifully decorated. Just a walk away from downtown allowed us to wander and get to know our new town. The street itself is quiet and neighbors are very friendly. It was a wonderful place to begin our new Vermont life.
Comfortable and well-kept townhouse
The landlords were welcoming and responsive, and they kept the driveway/parking areas plowed and salted. The house itself was beautiful, with big well-placed windows and closets, and well-equipped. Other furnished kitchens often leave out little necessities like mixing bowls and cooking utensils, but this one had everything needed for cooking, baking, etc. from day one. The furniture was also well-chosen, with plenty of drawer and dresser space and plush, comfy beds and chairs; the recliners in the attic were particularly good for naps and reading. Location was also excellent, in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of grocery stores, coffee shops, and downtown shopping. Altogether a very cute and comfortable place to stay!
Edwardian Townhome
Friendly and attentive landlords who respond rapidly to questions and concerns. Older house with radiators, typical of the area. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of space and natural light. Antique furnishings. Nice variety of small kitchen appliances. I stayed in the front bedroom and it was like sleeping on a cloud. G learned before I arrived that I would be working the night shift and provided sun blocking shades to the quietest bedroom for my use. The furnished attic was my favorite place to curl up with a movie or book in the comfy recliners.
