Deciding to stay with Ms. Jean has been one of the best decisions I could’ve ever made. She is the kindest, most welcoming, and most hospitable person I’ve met. Her home is so peaceful and beautiful, and there’s often wildlife wandering around in the backyard to enjoy the presence of. Staying with Ms. Jean has given me not only a wonderful roommate experience during my first time living in a new state, but it has also given me a wonderful friend!

A lovely home owned by a lovely soul

Miss Jean is such an amazing roommate! This was my first roommate experience with people I’ve never met and I had a wonderful 3 months at her residence. Her home is so warm and she’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. She has a cute small dog named Beau that is very friendly, playful, and well-behaved! He’s also hypoallergenic. You’ll be lucky to have her as a roommate and friend if you choose to rent here, I know I am!

From the moment I contacted Miss Jean, the communication was wonderful. She is welcoming and very accommodating. I was able to meet her and I enjoyed every second I spoke with her. She is an absolute blessing. The space was immaculate. It is evident that she takes pride in her home. Miss Jean is a blessing for anyone looking for a nice room and host. She provides more than a room. She provides a home, somewhere that you can truly relax. Unfortunately, I had to cut my time extremely short due to an unforeseen complication. The saddest thing about cutting my time short is that I didn't get to spend enough time staying with Miss Jean.

Awesome roomate experience

I had the pleasure of staying in a truly special space. The room was meticulously clean and thoughtfully set up, making it instantly feel like home. My host was the perfect balance of respectful and friendly-she gave me my space but was always happy to chat and connect, which made the experience even more meaningful. One of the highlights was the backyard. It's a peaceful, quiet retreat full of wildlife-I saw deer, a variety of birds, and even got to witness baby bluebirds hatching. Miss Jean is incredibly kind and accommodating. If you have the opportunity to stay here, consider yourself lucky. You'll leave with great memories and maybe even a new connection that lasts beyond your visit.

I had the pleasure of staying at miss Jean place from the moment I booked , her communication was excellent, she promptly answered all my questions, the place was both inviting comfortable and includes everything that I needed, the house has the perfect relaxing back deck ,excellent neighborhood, miss Jean takes pride in maintaining the space, great place to stay I highly recommend miss Jean's place

Beautiful home, lovely HOST. Clean, safe , private and comfortable!

I stayed with Jean in her lovely home during a travel assignment. Jean provides a comfortable, clean, safe space and I truly enjoyed my stay at her home. She was very attentive and was very accommodating. Jean was kind enough to make me several meals during my stay. I will without a doubt stay with Jean again when I come to Tallahassee again. Best place to stay for the money in Tallahassee in my opinion if you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable space this is it! Non smoking pet free home!

Home sweet home!

If you are looking to rent a room in Tally, this is the best place. Ms. Jean was an amazing host. I felt like I was at home. She makes sure you are comfortable and that you have everything you need. The room is big with private bathroom upstairs. It is very quiet and clean. Ms. Jean will go above and beyond for you. She truly has a heart of pure gold. I will definitely come back and stay with her again.

Comfortable and peaceful

This is the most comfortable and peaceful short-term living arrangement I have experienced. Miss J is a very kind, thoughtful, and respectful host and her home is immaculately clean, quiet, and peaceful. The back deck overlooks the Alford Greenway and I have seen much wildlife there. I enjoyed having access to hiking trails that run along the back side of the property. The Greenway and Piney Z Lake are teaming with wildlife, beautiful flora, and mountain bike trails. The room is larger than it appears in the photos and has a large walk in closet with plenty of storage space. The space is quiet and peaceful, as I never heard any noise coming from the downstairs part of the house or outside. Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Costco, Walmart, Publix, Starbucks, and restaurants are close, and the interstate is only minutes away. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Miss J and highly recommend staying at her cozy and peaceful home.

Property Review

I stayed at this property with J for my first travel nursing assignment from August 2023 to November 2023, and I totally love this location. This location is a nice and safe neighborhood. J is a wonderful landlord, she goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and easy. This property is kept very clean, comfortable bed, private bathroom and has a great desk to do your work. I highly recommend this place and I would love to rent from her again!
