cozy and peacefull with great owners
My husband and I stayed in this cottage for 16 weeks from end of May through mid Sept 2025. The house is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood, and we greatly enjoyed the big yard with lots of shade trees and a cozy back porch to sit and enjoy in the evening. The house is small and the shower is VERY small but overall, nice place to stay and Laura and John are absolutely wonderful and very responsive any time I reached out.

Cozy Cottage On Compromise
I had an awesome experience staying at this property and highly recommend. I am a traveling med tech who stayed here for 3 months for my assignment. The property is extremely clean and very well stocked. All the rooms, appliances, and furniture were in "like new" condition and felt nice to come home to after a long day at work (the bed is especially comfortable). There are many "little touches" from the plants to the rugs that made the place feel like "you were at home". The owner is very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The area itself was very quiet and took only a few minutes to walk to the many shops in downtown Mt Vernon. There are also numerous parks nearby for a quick jog or long hike. If i get any assignments in the future that are near Mt. Vernon Ohio, will definitely stay here again!
