Comfortable, cozy and convenient
We stayed here for six weeks Oct-Nov 2025 while house hunting. It was comfortably warm and all the services worked well. It felt like staying in the house of a relative remembered from childhood. The kitchen is modern and works well. The furniture is well lived in but works. There is closet and drawer space. The sitting/dining room is delightful. It opens onto a deck high in the trees on a steep slope facing south. The myriad autumn leaf colours fell in a gentle snowstorm of hues until you could see through the wintry branches to a view across the valley to the countryside beyond. The squirrels bounce about their business, eagerly investigating the fallen sycamore leaves for the seeds. Crows discuss the world every morning and watch the squirrels in the afternoon and exchange comments. The street is quiet, narrow and has very few places to park. The neighbours are pleasant and helpful. The owner and their manager were always quick to respond to texts with help and advice.
