Denise and Steve's Place

Hands down, one of the best, if not THE best Furnished Finder stay I've had over the years. As a remote consultant who loves exploring mountains, this location is so perfect -- tucked in the mountains, quiet countryside, zero traffic, horses down the way, yet a 10 minute drive from multiple grocery stores, gyms, pickleball courts, restaurants and coffee shops in Weaverville. If you're a hiker like me, the location is also situated perfectly for hiking at all levels within an hour in any direction. The studio apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The amenities provided were top notch - comfortable king bed and comforter, sharp knives for cooking, well-functioning internet, and a private porch for morning coffee... I couldn't have asked for more! The hosts themselves - outstanding! I was treated like family and any small hiccups that did occur were quickly resolved. Thank you so much Steve and Denise!

A wonderful place to stay!

This is a truly lovely apartment and wonderfully located in the quiet countryside just a short drive from Weaverville. Very quiet and peaceful. A small deck overlooking the forest nearby, nice walking opportunities right out your back door. All furnishing in the apartment are top quality and the overall design of the space is great. Lots of nice aesthetic touches made for a very comfortable and nourishing stay. Just lovely. Denise and Steve are both very welcoming and helpful while also respecting the quiety and privacy of this space. I have been traveling around to different locations these past few years and this apartment has been a highlight - just wonderful!

Beautiful and Peaceful

This studio apartment is a lovely escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. Steve and Denise are the best hosts and they truly care that their tenants are satisfied and happy in the studio. They are lovely to chat with, but allow for privacy. They have thought of everything in this small apartment. It is quite comfortable and cozy!

BEST CHOICE TO STAY!

I have been traveling for the past 4 years and have yet to meet anyone as kind and considerate as Steve and Denise. They are not only accommodating with your schedule and work life but take into consideration your days off. For example, they would take out the garbage the night before to avoid opening the garage door too early and potentially waking me up on my day off. Steve and Denise made me feel at home and were a second family to me when I was many miles way from mine. I am an RN who worked at Mission Health, the drive was less than 15 min to and from, this includes potential traffic. There is a laundromat and gym within 10 min from the apt as well as Walmart and major stores. Overall I had the most pleasant experience while staying with Steve and Denise, I will most definitely be staying with them again if I choose to travel to NC in the future. I would give 100 stars if I could, but furnished finder only allows for 5. It is a blessing if you get the opportunity to stay with them

Quiet, Modern, and ALOT OF NATURE

Before I make a review on the ADU, I would like to review the Landlords, Denise & Steve. They're wonderful people and no words can describe how much they would check on my roommate and I (Basically anything they can help or missing in the ADU) Now the ADU, it's big and spacious. There is a lot of nature lightning and very quiet. Everything works, and the kitchen is up to date, with all the necessities and utensils anyone can use. We worked at Mission Hospital, it was a 15 minute drive, but there isn't that much traffic. We worked the 7a-7p shift and there was little to no traffic. I highly recommend for any travel nurses or medical professionals to check this place and keep it in mind. The landlords will give you a walkthrough if needed. Thank you, Denise and Steve!! -Alfredo

First tenant

I was the first tenant that stayed there. The apartment is large, spacious and comfortable. Its truly only ten minutes from downtown Weaverville. With me being a nurse that worked night shift the Landlord and her husband was really considerate of not disturbing me while I was sleeping. They landlord even checked on me thru out my stay to see if I needed anything. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay and nice people to rent from they will be great people to rent from. If I ever decide to pick up another travel contract there I would not mind staying in this apartment again. I give this apartment a 10 out of 10.
