Peaceful Retreat in Great Location - For Humans & Pets

This was a wonderful spot for pet owners. My cats settled right in without any issues. The location is excellent: I was able to ride my e-bike down to the greenway easily. The unit itself is quiet, and the patio was a lovely bonus for enjoying the outdoors. The landlord was genuinely responsive whenever I had questions or needs. Highly recommend for anyone - especially fellow pet owners looking for a peaceful, well-located furnished rental in the Abingdon area.

wonderful apartment and great land lord

Bettie was so wonderful and kind, I stayed here for 8 months. Stayed with my small dog, loved walking her in the neighborhood. Can't ask for more, I hated leaving. Bettie is so wonderful.

Truly lovely property

I needed a furnished rental while searching for a residence to purchase. I found Betties basement apartment and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The house is located in a secluded residential neighborhood that has little through traffic due to its location between two dead end streets. I couldnt have asked for a quieter or more serene location. A big plus is the large glass patio door that looks directly onto the private landscaped backyard. The lushness is almost like living in a treehouse. The apartment interior is welcoming and comfortable. Everything I needed was included (bring your own linens). Bettie has gone above and beyond in helping with anything that Ive needed. I highly recommend her and her lovely rental.

Amazing experience!

I had a wonderful stay here. I had an internship here in Waynesboro to finish college, Isabella was quick to respond and really gave me a space that felt like home. She is awesome: gave me whatever I needed, whether it be a charger I forgot at work, candy just to be nice, or even offered to let my puppy dog stay over while my mother was away from home. Additionally, my transmission in my car blew out, and she went out of her way to drive me to and from the repair shop and even tried to negotiate with Nissan to help me get it fixed. Isabella is a lovely host, and the space that she provides is really everything you could need. Easy parking, laundry, bathroom (with a REALLY nice shower), spacious closet, a supremely comfortable bed, and a fantastic living room to long. Not to mention the great sliding glass door entrance that lets you see the sunset every night. Overall, I would recommend ANYONE to pick this as their place to stay. Great home and even greater host!

cozy apartment and nice neighborhood

I stayed here for 2 months in the summer. It is a downstairs unit under the main home. Completely segregated from upstairs with your own driveway and entrance. Fit mine and my cat's needs. The owner was prompt in responses and super respectful of your space. Great safe neighborhood and there's a cute park you can walk around!

Nice quiet neighborhood - great for walking or relaxing on the patio - convenient to all of Waynesboro - the owner is very friendly and helpful - nice large desk for your computer and paperwork - ample space for simple cooking - nice shower with plenty of hot water - convenient laundry for your use - convenient parking outside of your door - had a pleasant stay.

Good place to stay

Quiet, cozy apartment perfect for that single traveler working at the local hospital. Amenities are provided. The host is kind and willing to help with anything you may need. Plenty of parking available with your own private entrance is really nice. It's a good place to stay when you are new to town-20 mins Staunton: 50 min from Charlottesville. Close to shops, gas stations, restaurants etc.

Warm, cozy downstairs apartment

The apartment is warm and cozy. Beautifully decorated. Sofas and bed are super comfy. Landlord is wonderful and friendly - she didnt mind that my kitty would wander upstairs.

Cozy basement apartment

Cozy basement apartment with private back drive to the entrance. Bed and couches were very comfy. Property owner is extremely responsive and accommodating, even taking care of my pup while i was working long hours. Only complaints is that the bathroom is a bit small with no counter space, and no sink or stove in the kitchen area. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and i would definitely live there again.
