Great Spot!
I had a great experience during my stay here! I lived here for four months while working in Portland, and it was the perfect place to call home. The property is located in a safe neighborhood, right next to a super cute park, and there was always plenty of street parking available. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in Portland.
Beautiful spot in great neighborhood
I had a lovely stay here for several months! The owners (who live upstairs) are very kind, flexible, and communicative. They lent me a hand numerous times and always brought my mail down to me. The location is great -- right across the street from the park and walkable to bars, restaurants, and PCC. There is street parking available pretty much all the time and I felt very safe. There is even a parking space in the backyard for easy moving in and moving out. The unit itself is clean, well-stocked, and spacious enough for a more longterm stay. I used the second small room for gear storage but it could be used as a WFH office or something else. My absolute favorite thing was listening to the sound of the rain on the backyard pergola. There is also a fire pit. It can get a little chilly in the winter months but there is a small heater provided (in addition to central heating) and nothing a little communication can't solve.
Private, comfortable, and centrally located this is the perfect spot.
This property checks all the boxes. The space is comfortable, private, and well-equipped with everything you need. The spacious basement has plenty of natural light and a dedicated bonus room, perfect for work, evening yoga, or a quick at-home workout. The covered backyard patio was delightful for getting some sun between Zoom meetings and eating lunch outside and I loved coming home at night to the string lights all lit up. My hosts, Alley and Meredith, were incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed from an egg pan to a spare stick of palo santo. Location-wise, it's prime: directly opposite Peninsula Park and the gorgeous rose garden and within walking/biking distance to numerous amenities including coffee shops, arts districts, and several cute neighborhoods. I loved my stay here and will absolutely be back next time I'm in Portland!
