Terminated Lease Early
I have never had to terminate a lease early but unfortunately this had to be done due to unsafe conditions. Downstairs single woman's apartment attempted burglary, multiple fires around the property (the house next door burnt down), i was asked for money while walking to my vehicle to go to work multiple times, used needles & feces covered wipes in the yard, encampments along the fence line, constant yelling/sirens (it is sooo loud!). Leaving the front door always felt a bit risky. My packages were opened before i could get to them. After the rest of the tenants moved out i no longer felt safe to remain at this residence. Concerns were voiced to the landlord but unfortunately nothing was done which ultimately led to my departure.
DO NOT STAY HERE
When I moved in, the landlord openly stated the water wasnt safe to drink a huge red flag. The downstairs tenants apartment was broken into, and at all hours of the day and night, homeless people are outside the doors screaming, yelling, and causing disturbances. A used needle was found in the fenced yard, and I have never felt so unsafe in my entire life. One homeless woman even undressed and defecated in our trash can, and despite multiple complaints, the landlord has done absolutely nothing. Homeless individuals frequently camp along the fence line of the property, and random people come and go from the supposedly secured laundry and mailrooms. You cant even step outside the complex without being harassed. A tenants car door was opened by a stranger while she was sitting inside on the property. Ive never had to call 911 so many times in my life. DO NOT live here unless you want to live in constant fear for your safety.
Great and Comfortable Stay
My wife and kids stayed at this apartment for about two months. The location is close to a lot of restaurants and places to go. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
Must stay!
This apartment was perfect for my 3 month stay. Super close to everything, including I5. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
stay here
A perfect place for us. The owners saved us early on a Sunday morning when our other housing failed abruptly. The apartment is cozy, but super clean and cool, and has a lot of touches that make it a home, plus free laundry. Light and breezy feeling decor. When you're in the house, you'd never know you are right in the middle of the city, and the view from the windows might as well be a forest. Location, location, location! Most things in Tacoma are about a ten minute drive away, you're on the south edge of downtown so walking there is easy, and the brewery district is down the hill two blocks. The international district is a four minute drive. We worked in puyallup at good sam, and it was reliably only a 22 minute drive. Owners were always just a text away, and you can tell they take real pride in making the whole building a great place to call home.
Will miss!
This is such a great space. My husband and I stayed here with our 18 month old and it was perfect for us 3. There are such thoughtful touches and it's overall very comfortable. We extended our contract a few times mostly because this space was just so perfect for us! The location is super close to both hospitals and we always felt safe. Landlords are very kind and attentive. We will certainly miss this little apartment for our next move! Would recommend!
cute cozy home!
I lived here with my cat for 3 months while completing an internship in Gig Harbor and it was the perfect amount of space for us. It was super close to the highway entrances so getting around was a breeze! I was worried about the noise due to being so near the hospital but the sounds didn't really bother me and never kept me up at night. This place also came with so many little touches that made it really feel like a home, and I already miss it! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're thinking of living in the Tacoma area.
