A quaint respite that is Basil House

This small accommodation is centrally located whether requiring access to the downtown area, medical centers, or otherwise. I had the pleasure of staying here as I was relocating to Tyler for work. It features a kitchen, stocked with all of the necessary cookware and dinnerware. There is room to store any additional kitchen appliances you opt to bring, e.g., pressure cooker, air fryer, etc. The bedroom is well situated for a single occupant or couple, with fresh linens and a spare set in the closet. The living room boasts a relaxing atmosphere where I was able to take care of work as well as relax. A little table and chairs, just outside the front door make for a splendid spot to have morning/evening coffee or tea. The landlords were amazing communicators and responsive to all inquiries. I highly recommend staying at Basil House if your coming to Tyler on an elongated stay or relocating here permanently.

Great Experience

The landlords were amazing and super responsive. The house is super cute and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The neighbors are really nice and friendly, no noise at night, and super close to the hospital and all the amenities you could need.

Such a cute place to stay! I stayed for about 6 months while on a travel assignment. Natalie and Bryan made my stay extremely easy and enjoyable. Very nice, quiet neighborhood to walk if you have dogs. Cute park down the street with pickleball/tennis courts. Neighbors are very friendly! It's close to downtown Tyler where there are a bunch of cool bars and places to eat..and it's close to both hospitals! Definitely enjoyed my time here!

Amazing!

Stayed here for a nursing contract for 3 months. Loved the house, it's so cute and cozy. Feels like an actual home. About a 6 min drive to UT. The neighborhood is the best, perfect for walking- plus walking distance to a coffee shop. Natalie and Brian were amazing hosts, so easy to communicate with and always kind. I reached out a few times during my stay, and she responded immediately. Moving in and out was a breeze, they make it so easy. Nothing to complain about at all, 10/10 recommend this spot!
