Here is your new home-away-from-home! The rental unit is attached to the back of the house, nestled into a beautiful backyard which you'll enjoy from your large, private patio.

The sofa you see here folds out into a full Queen size bed... for when your friends and family come to visit!

Your kitchenette: including a full-size refrigerator, sink, oven and 2 double, electric hotplates. The TV folds forward to face the couch when in use.

Clothing rack, folding clothes hamper, yoga mat and ironing board are behind this door. Tool box, sewing kit, ear plugs, eye pillow and beach towels in the cabinet to the Left of the bathroom.

My favorite part of the unit-- the old-timey bathroom! Extra toiletries below the sink and handsoap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc... all provided.

Your view of the backyard from your private back patio: chicken coup and meditation/storage room sheds. We have guava, persimmon, fig, apricot and avocado trees as well as a garden (on the other side of the house) and love to share our bounty!

Only a 5 minute drive from here is Coronado Beach, consistently rated one of the Top 10 beaches in the world! Stretches and stretches of white-sand beach flecked with gold (I'm not kidding) winding along the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Take a walk along the boardwalk and grab a cocktail and taco at the Del's Tiki Bar on the sand!

Coronado is one of the few beaches where you can find whole sand dollars (that's our son, Romeo, in the background)!

Downtown's Gaslamp District, just a few minutes away!

Balboa Park is the soul of San Diego. Go there to walk around, picnic, eat or to one of the many attractions.

Stroll along Mission Bay. 10 minutes away.

You will be across the street from everything Golden Hill has to offer... Grab coffee across the street at Dark Horse Coffee Roasters or Influx Coffee, a swanky cocktail at Kingfisher, a beer and a meal at Counterpoint gastropub or Pizza at Pizzeria Luigi's. Also get your yoga on at Sojourn yoga across the street or try endless Mexican bites (El Rey tacos or Panchita's Mexican bakery are our favs). Walk 15 minutes to Petco Park for a Padres baseball game! Lyft home.

Downtown hosts a historic trolley route that winds around the city center.

Definitely see and be seen strolling through the streets of Little Italy, with its trendy eateries and excellent people-watching! Check out the Saturday Farmer's Market.

Take in a concert a the new Rady's Shell on the downtown Harbor. 5 minutes.

There's nothing like the sunsets in San Diego... over the ocean! There are gorgeous sunsets in the neighborhood overlooking a silhouetted downtown skyline and this photo was taken in Ocean Beach close to Sunset Cliffs (the twin coves at the end of Santa Cruz Avenue: 15 minutes drive).

Check out Logan Avenue in Barrio Logan for tasty tacos, art, and endless eateries... 5 minute drive.

Beautiful La Jolla cove (locals tip: it's pronounced "la hoiya") with its upscale boutiques and eateries and seals on the beach

Bustling-neighborhoody South Park is only a 5 minute drive (or 30 minute walk!) from the house with its trendy-but-down-to-earth, laidback restaurants, coffee houses, bars and breweries.

Take a walk along the harbor past Seaport Village, the convention center and the Embarcadero Marina Parks. Have apps and cocktails at swanky Topsail Restaurant for gorgeous downtown, Coronado and bay views. 5 minutes drive.
