Two Thumbs Up

Ive been staying at La Vie en Rose for a little over a year now. Landlord: Ana is one of the best landlords youll meet. She communicates respectfully and effectively, is very polite, and genuinely cares about her tenants concerns. Ana often goes the extra mile to make the stay comfortable, checking in regularly and providing what you need so you never feel stranded, especially helpful when youre living with strangers. In the winter, she coordinates parking during heavy snowfalls to keep our cars safe. Location and Neighbors: Forest Park is just a minutes walk away, with multiple trails and the occasional sighting of deer across the street. The neighborhood is peaceful, with families riding bikes and walking dogs. The neighbors are friendly, and it feels like a generally safe environment. Roommates: Ana does a good job screening tenants, so Ive never had issues with anyone being unreasonable or overly messy. Sure, some people have poor bathroom etiquette, but a quick message to Ana or a note in the shared spaces usually fixes that. For the most part, the house is quiet, and you hardly notice others living there. Some roommates are cool, others might report you for small inconveniences (like playing music), and as with any shared space, theres a mix of people who clean up after themselves and those who dont. Occasionally, someone may use your dishes, but keeping your items out of the shared spaces avoids that. House: The house has some nice featurestheres a hammock on the second floor, a beautifully renovated backyard with a canopy, a reading spot on the deck, and even a pull-up bar I enjoy using. Laundry is free, and drying is only 4 quarters. The walls are thin, so you do need to be mindful of noise; even small movements can be heard. Ana has the house cleaned regularly, so it stays very clean. The door locks are passcode or thumbprint-based, which takes getting used to, but once you do, its seamless. The Wi-Fi is strong enough for gaming and streaming, though it can slow down when everyones home. Nitpicks: The only real downside is the no-guest policy. While its understandablebecause guests can create issues in shared spaces like the kitchen and bathrooms, and the walls are thinit would be nice to have the option to bring one guest for a short visit (without overnight stays). That said, its a fair rule to maintain peace in the house. Conclusion: Overall, its been a good experience. The cost is lower than anything else on the market, and its a great option for single adults looking for a quiet, peaceful environment.

Woods

I was relocating from another state and needed a place until I was able to find a permanent home. Ana welcomed me into her home. She was professional, relatable and has good positive energy. Before moving she told me the locations of places I would possibly be interested in. The home was clean, and contained many things I would need on the daily basis. I would surely recommend her home to medical professionals and students. The area is quiet and peaceful but also close to highways.

Travel Nurse

I was new to travel nursing and moved across the country for my first assignment. The first place I found was very sketchy and then I found this place/room that wasnt quite finished but Ana was concerned for my safety and was very kind in letting me move in early. She was a very responsive host and reached out to her tenants for tips on how to make the space more homey and functional. I was here for 3 months in the fall and the location was perfect, there is a park near by perfect for walking. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay here.

The enchanted woods experience

I stayed Enchanted woods for Six months during my Travel nurse assignment. The Apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet space. The Landlord A was very pleasant, and accommodating. I would definitely come back if Im around area or have another assignment.
