Perfect Location to Hospital and DT Durham

We had a fantastic stay at Eva Flats! The location was one of the best parts — it’s just minutes from downtown Durham, so getting to restaurants, coffee shops, and everything in the city was incredibly easy. The neighborhood felt convenient and central, and we loved being so close to the downtown area without being right in the middle of the noise. The unit itself was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for our stay. Check-in was simple and Ashley was responsive and helpful throughout. If you’re looking for a place that gives you quick access to downtown Durham while still being a comfortable place to relax, Eva Flats is a great option. We’d definitely stay here again!

Uncomfortable neighborhood, does not look out for the tenant

I would not recommend staying here. Communication was poor from the start. Messages went unanswered for long periods, and when responses came, they were often unhelpful or dismissive. I did not feel safe in this location. People were walking and standing beside the house late at night, and with broken blinds and no curtains, I felt exposed. I also frequently woke up to the gate left open. My contract was cut 3 weeks early due to a medically necessary surgery. Despite this, I was required to continue paying for the remainder of the lease. While that was frustrating, what made the situation worse was that the landlord chose to clean the unit before the lease term ended while I was still paying for it and then informed me I could not return unless I paid an additional cleaning fee. Being charged extra to access a space I was actively paying for felt unreasonable and unfair. While this may have been legal, it didn't feel like it was the right thing to do.

Hidden heaven

We had the pleasure of staying at Ashley and Nicks property for six months, and it was an exceptional experience. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful and attentive. The love and care they poured into the house were evident in every detail. The setup and every small item were thoughtfully chosen, making our stay comfortable and homely. Ashley and Nick have become lifelong family friends, and we are grateful for their outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend staying at their property for a truly wonderful experience!

Cute and Quaint!

The space was super cute! Just enough space for me! Nicely furnished throughout! A and N were very welcoming and helpful!! I appreciate their Durham book of things do to and places to go!
