Private room in Austin, Texas
Landlord Tenure: 3 years, 7 months
The house is a spacious 1,500 sq ft. mother-in-law floor plan (meaning bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house) with 9-foot ceilings. It has dark wood laminate flooring with a gas fireplace. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances with a gas stove. Storage will be provided within the refrigerator and freezer as well as the food pantry.
I enjoy my time at the property. I had a great experience staying here. I work nights, and the property was 10-15 min from the St David's hospital that I worked. S is very thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. She was very considerate of noise while I sleep, she is also very friendly and made sure to ask if I needed anything. Knowing that it was my first time in Austin, she invited me out with her friends , and I felt at home. The location is also very convenient for shopping and entertainment. I loved spending time at this property. It is very welcome, and if I'm ever in Austin again, this will be my first stop.
Wonderful Experience
I'm a traveling nurse who works overnights. I had never been to Austin before and wasn't sure about the layout of the city. The house is clean and cozy. The room is decorated nicely and even has a TV. I have my own private bath and full use of the common areas. The neighborhood is conveniently located to a huge grocery store and tons of shopping. The owner of the house is very welcoming and accommodating. When I come back to Austin I will be staying here again. I have enjoyed my time here.
A Wonderful Experience!
As an RN on a travel contract at St David's Medical Center (on 32nd st), I could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment I had contact with S, the property owner, I was put at ease. She was so thoughtful in addressing my concerns regarding safety, cleanliness, location, and privacy. My space was clean and cozy, private bathroom, and full access to the entire house. She was patient with me in learning how to set the alarm system when I came and went; but the neighborhood was so nice and quiet that I was always at ease with no worries. Being that I worked night shift; she went above and beyond providing my room with blackout curtains, and door noise blockers so that I could sleep peacefully during the day. She also constantly asked me if there was anything else that I needed to make my stay more comfortable. As for my commute to work, it was very short 15-18 min drive. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the property and I left there with a friend for life.
