NOT A SAFE AREA!

The pictures are accurate, the house is nice on the inside. However, the property is not in a safe location, especially for females. It sits by 39th st and Troost (google the area). The landlord is aware of the high crime in the area, I personally feel that's why you have to sign a lease. They are posted on airbnb, and another young lady had posted about the area as well. I didn't see her comment until after I had moved in, and the other roommate brought it to my attention.

We began welcoming guests into this space in 2023, and it has been a pleasure to host a diverse array of tenants, both male and female. Kansas City, like many urban areas, has its crime concerns, but these are largely confined to specific neighborhoods. Squier Park stands out as a well-established community known for its long-term residents, fostering a sense of safety and community. During our tenure as owners, we've experienced no incidents of property theft or other crimes, and our neighbors have echoed this sentiment. My wife and I take great pride in maintaining the property, frequently engaging in cleaning and yard work to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming environment. We have always felt safe when we are at the property. To further enhance your peace of mind, we've installed exterior-facing security cameras. You'll have access to the camera app, allowing you to monitor your surroundings and receive notifications if motion is detected. We also encourage all guests to keep doors locked when not in use. A testament to the comfort and security of our home is a recent guest, who left this comment, enjoyed her stay so much she requested an additional week during her visit.
