Beautifully renovated waterview 2-BR haven. 10 minutes from New Haven hospitals

1 month stay to be close to daughters school

My daughter goes to school at the University of New Haven and she broke her leg earlier in the month. We live in Pennsylvania and needed to find a place close to her school and the hospital so that we could run her to either place when needed. We found Linda's place on the site and it was everything we were told it would be on the site. When they say location, location, location, this perfectly describes this lovely home. Close to hospital, close to University of New Haven but best of all, a short walk to the beach. My wife and I spent most of our spare time walking on the beach looking for sea glass, and there was plenty of it to be found. The Lobster Shack is right down the road and the food was reasonable priced and delicious. House was perfect for what we needed and the lawn and garden areas were great for both of our dogs. We highly recommend this place and would stay there again in a heart beat.

"Quiet retreat, feet from the beach"

3 month stay fall '24. There is a marsh with egrets flocking seen from the front porch. Beach is a block away. Linda was kind to lend me a folding chair so I can dig my toes in the sand and read Where The Crawdads Sing. Travel nurse here looking for a place within 15mins from Yale New Haven. Quiet enough to get my rest during the day so I'm on my feet 12 hours at night. The ambiance subdued by mother nature. The sound of windchimes welcomes the sea breeze. All modern appliances include a full kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator, smart TV, cutlery, washer, dryer. Electric heat warms the entire cottage. There is an ADT alarm if you feel the need for added security. For your convenience, there is also a keypad entry. No need to carry anything as you mosey on down to the best part of being by the water. I enjoyed my days off washing my car in the driveway and jogging along the ocean. Did not use the jacuzzi, nor the grill. Eat, sleep, rinse, and repeat.
