Stress-Free Stay with Amazing Hospitality

I had an amazing experience staying at this Furnished Finder property. From the moment I arrived, everything felt clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The bed was genuinely one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, which made my stay incredibly restful; especially important with a newborn. The landlady was truly exceptional. She was attentive, thoughtful, and consistently responsive to all our messages. Any time we had a question or needed something adjusted, she took care of it right away. What touched me the most was the personal care she showed: she even assembled a brand new bassinet for my newborn so we would have everything we needed. That level of kindness and attention is rare, and it made our stay feel like home. Overall, the space was cozy, quiet, and well-equipped, and the hospitality was outstanding. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress free experience.

Decent place but not worth it

Nice place, but dealing with the owner, Valeria, has been a nightmare. I've been a traveling professional with my son for over 10 years and this is my first negative review. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I do not and cannot recommend staying here! -Floor was sticky and had issues with the toilet flushing properly. -Lack of organization. Took 3 days to receive all necessary docs from her which shouldve been sent all at once. -Very slow to respond. She accused me of being in 2 violations of the agreement, never asked a question to verify, demanded 24hrs to fix them, but I didnt know what she was referring to. When asked, it took her 12+ hrs to respond. -She required a 30 day notice to vacate, but there wasn't any mention of that in the contract. -I maintained communication with her in regards to needing to relocate early, she was unwilling to work with me and proceeded to report me to a collections agency due to late payment (2 weeks) that I sent through the mail and got lost.

We strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-managed environment for all residents and therefore, feel it is important to share additional context for clarity. Our community rulesincluding no pets, available parking, and unit/lease guidelinesare provided during the application process, reiterated in our listings, and acknowledged via signature by all tenants prior to move-in. These policies help ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone. From the start of your tenancy, several concerns arose that affected both the property and neighboring residents. After reading and acknowledging our rules and requirements, you proceeded to fabricate and/or omit information on your application which we believe impacted your experience. As noted in our Listing, Rental Application, and other documentation, we do not allow animals/pets of any kind. Although you signed your application that reflected No Pets, you subsequently arrived with an unauthorized large dog in which you did not disclose its presence until Management discovered the dog several days later and inquired accordingly. You indicated that the dog was a service animal; yet, the animal was left alone in the apartment during work hours and various other times. The dog was also allowed to roam the property without a leash which caused great concern for the neighbors. On the date of move-in, you acknowledged receipt of your Move-in/ Move-out Instructions along with your unique door code. However, upon your late-night arrival, you disregarded the Move-In/ Move-Out Instructions (which clearly reflected the Unit #/ location) and used your code to make several unsuccessful attempts to enter another unit in addition to reportedly looking into the window without any consideration as to whether the unit was occupied or whether the occupants were/were not home at the time. You subsequently reached out the same night; not to convey any issues with accessing your approved unit, but to inquire about transferring to that particular unit because it would be better for you all. The following day, Mgmt. reached out to inquire about your activity from the previous night to which you advised that you didnt recognize the door letter (large, gold, front and center of the door) until you attempted to access the unit which was clearly on the opposite side of the building from your assigned unit. We came to suspect that your actions were an attempt to transfer to that unit to further hide the dog. As noted in our documentation, there are two parking spaces designated for each unit. You arrived driving a full-size pickup truck with a large trailer in tow (without notice, permission, or request for additional parking) which resulted in the need for additional parking spaces, and consequently, we accommodated you. During an entry to execute a maintenance request, we discovered that you had broken into the locked Supply Closet within the unit and removed items for your own personal use. This led to our need to address the incident and firmly advise you that access to the supplies and other items were for the cleaning team and management use only and to refrain from accessing that area again. Applicable documents were sent prior to move-in. When you requested clarification or updates, we responded as promptly as possible; even during late evening/night hours (whenever it was possible) so we regret if any communication felt delayed. Our leasesconsistent with industry standards/ NC Lawsdo require notice before termination. You requested 61-occupancy; however, 16 days into your stay, you contacted us to inquire about a departure. We explained that two prospective tenants had been declined due to your occupancy, we had blocked our calendar from prospective applicants (which included a courtesy 15-day grace period to extend if needed). It is an unreasonable expectation for us to forgo our policies, which you signed that you read, understood, and agreed to; without any attempt to mitigate the situation. As for the floors, our properties are professionally cleaned after each guest/tenant. Any debris, or stickiness on the floors most likely came from items that you frequently move in and out of your trailer such as the deep freezer, large rubber tubs, or possibly from the large dog roaming outside the property and returning to the unit. The rent payment in question arrived more than six weeks after the due date due to multiple excuses with banking, money orders, postal/ mailing issues, etc. We made multiple attempts to resolve the matter with you. Needless to say, you did not submit full payment as outline in our agreement which had to be reconciled accordingly. Once you honored your financial agreement, the matter was closed. We take great pride in our property and the many positive experiences that residents have had with us. Sadly, your presence and overall behavior became very exhausting for our team and the neighbors around you. As a result, Mgmt. sadly concluded that it was in everyones best interest that you decided to leave. While we regret that this tenancy did not work out as we had hoped, we remain committed to transparency, professionalism, and the well-being of our community.

Great Location & Nice Host

Super Nice Host. Very responsive. Unit was loaded with all the amenities and basic supplies. We like the property location; it was pretty close to uptown.
