Poor communication with tenants

After reserving a room on this property a few weeks ago, the day before I moved in, the landlord contacted me and told me I couldn't move in because there was a female living there who didn't want to share a bathroom with a male. He sent me copies of her text messages, claiming she was uncomfortable " because you don't know what people are capable of ". No judgement there at all. I did receive my deposit back but I was already in the area staying at a hotel waiting to move in on the 1st. This is a conversation the landlord should have had with this tenant the day I reserved, not the evening before I was supposed to move in. Also, the lusting should say female tenants only to try and be a little less discriminatory. This put me in a scramble to find something else I had to settle for with very little time. I can only hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else with this property.

GREAT RENTAL

the accommodations were impeccably clean and exceptionally comfortable, and the landlord/family exhibited remarkable professionalism. They were highly accommodating, allowing me to stay longer than anticipated while my contract was extended, which greatly enhanced my experience. Overall, my time at this property was outstanding, largely due to the commendable service provided by the landlord.
