Great place to stay

This is such a great place to stay. The location and attention to detail are unbeatable. If you didnt know hawthorn is a beautiful neighborhood with some of the best shopping and restaurants in Portland. You get the character of an older neighborhood and the convenience of the city. The basement apartment has plenty of light, the appliances are new and great quality, and you dont feel like youre staying in temporary housing, you feel like youre in a home. S and N are such nice people and they have thought of everything you could need. The space has everything you could need. As a single woman I felt really safe, both in the home and walking my dog. The entrance is hidden, from the street so no one can tell there is an apartment in the basement and S and N keep a close eye on the front of the house. If my travels ever bring me back to Portland I would love to stay there again. It was a great space to host friends and family.
