Terrible Experience

Worst housing experience Ive ever had. The place was filthy on arrival: a dirty used pan with flies in the oven and false eyelashes on the counter. The house is very old, musty, and needs renovation. The landlady was unresponsive: many ceiling lights were out, the shower head was broken, and kitchen had fly infestation from trash outside. None of this was fixed during my 2.5-month stay, and she was often disrespectful when I raised concerns. Theres no in-unit washer; its in her section of the house and requires 24h notice for use between 9-5, making laundry after work impossible. She was often unavailable on weekends despite notice, causing constant inconvenience. Though the listing says utilities included, she only covers up to a limit. I had to pay $194.98 with low A/C use. I moved out early due to the conditions. At moveout, she tried to charge me $75 for a window screen I didnt damage; I had to contest it for weeks before she dropped it. I highly advise against this rental.

Good location

Good location that is close to downtown and nearby hospitals. Faith is quick to respond and very helpful!

Good Spot

Was a travel nurse that stayed over summer and it's generally a good spot to be in (10 mins to UC). Faith is usually quick to respond to whatever issue and despite being on the ground floor it's quiet. Do know she keeps the deposit so might not be worth a short term rental but if you stay for a while I think it's a good deal. Would stay again
