Perfect for short-term stay

I stayed here for a summer internship and everything was beyond my expectations! Super nice neighborhood, 30-second walk from the park, ~5 min walk to 2 green line stations. The rooms are in great condition, cleaning service comes twice a month, and there's the added benefit of a cat if you are a cat person! Housemates are very quiet and you rarely run into them. Nina is super helpful and always nice to chat with!

Great location

I recently stayed here while on assignment at one of the local hospitals. Very convenient 15 min walk to work. The T is located right down the street so getting around is a breeze. Walkable distance to local grocery stores, Fenway, Target and restaurants. The house is nice, clean and quiet. My biggest conncern was a shared bathroom and really it wasnt any issue at all. Landlord did a great job communicating if she needed to move my car or even just letting us know if something was happening with the house. I would definitely stay again the next time I am in the Boston area for work. Thank you Nina!

English Value Room stay

Nina's has been the perfect city base for me during my 3 month stay. This is an amazing location, right next to a park, a 10 minute walk to Fenway and Longwood and on the green line. The home itself is clean, modern and very safe. Every housemate I encountered was also a health worker or health student in Longwood, and was trustworthy and respectful. Nina and her family help take care of home related things that come up. I stayed in the English value room, and Nina was very realistic about what the room provides! It does not have a window, which was fine with what I needed. For those wanting to spend more downtime here, choose one of the rooms with a window! Has a minifridge, microwave, with a sink, dishes and drying rack just outside. Ideal for someone who does not need to do too much cooking up in the main kitchen. I shared a bathroom with 1 other basement tenant and we almost never conflicted with timing of use. Reach out to Nina if you are unsure, she is honest and flexible!

Best FF I've Ever Stayed At

The place is lovely and it is in a great location, easy to get anywhere around the city with the T located down the block. The landlord is so kind and always asks me if she needs to go into my room to clean or move my car in the driveway. She has gone above and beyond to me personally by driving me places when I needed assistance. It's always clean and quiet in the house and everyone is respectful of one another. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. When I first moved in, I stayed in the English value room temporarily until I moved upstairs. The tenant next to me in the English Garden was quite frankly, not respectful at all. She was very loud at all hours of the day/night and I could hear her saying mean things about me (she was laughing with her friends on the phone, telling them she wasn't going to allow me to use the bathroom that was downstairs, even though I was only down there for 10 days). Dont let a sour review on here sway you! It's not true!

Great Room, Great Location

I stayed for a semester as I attended school in the area and could not have had a more positive experience. The room and general house were extremely nice and everyone was friendly. I would frequently come back late at night due to my schedule and it was never an issue and it was perfect for studying. The location is convenient as wellclose to the T and next to a cute park. Had a great time during my stay and I would highly recommend!

Wonderful Place to stay and great location

Had a great stay in Boston thanks to Nina and her family. They helped me move in and were always kind and responsive. The Garden Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Weekly bathroom cleaning was a plus. I shared the basement with one other respectful tenant and never had noise issues. Laundry was convenient and quiet. I walked 1215 minutes to Beth Israel daily, no need for a car. Nina always asked before entering for repairs, even gave me a Starbucks gift card for a minor window fix. Any issues were resolved same day. I was hesitant due to a low rating but had a phone call with Nina beforehand and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Great location, not worth the Headache

I have been renting short term leases for nearly 2 years, and frankly I have never had a more unprofessional landlord. She frequently entered my space without notice as required in our lease agreement. In addition, I feel the space was largely misrepresented to me as I was assured the privacy of being the only tenant on the basement floor which they changed mid lease. In addition, she told me she promised the next tenant an earlier move in date not realizing that the space was still mine under lease. I fear she is juggling more tenants than she can keep up with. She does not seem to have a good grasp on the rights of the tenant and landlord. It is a great location to the hospital and a spacious space. However, I do not feel it was worth the headache and I would not recommend this place to live.
