Great stay, surprising ending...

Though a bit pricey, this place was great for our 3-month summer stay in Kenai. It was newly renovated, we loved the space and the decor. There was some noise from construction next door and paving of the driveway, but really the drop in stars comes from our check out process... We did a thorough walkthrough with the owners for 30+ minutes and all they said to us was that the place looked lovely and we took great care of it. Then came time for the security deposit and we were charged an extra $250 for a dirty kitchen and "ruined" utensils, towels, etc. Why this was not addressed before we left, we don't understand. The $150 extra kitchen cleaning fee we are especially not happy with as there were NO cleaning products supplied when we moved in. We bought a multipurpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner and had to ask for them to drop off a toilet brush. After going back and forth they dropped extra charges to $200, but this definitely wasn't the best ending to an otherwise great stay.
