Sweetly Curated Idyllic Retreat

The space is honestly perfect. The space is beautifully decorated with a place for everything! The owners have tended to every detail to have this feel immediately like home. They are great communicators and wonderful people. The garden is exquisite, and you just can't beat a quiet spot by the lake to unwind! I recommend Dove Cottage without reservation!

Perfect Stay!

I loved this apartment! The studio is very thoughtfully decorated and stocked with cooking necessities. Bed is comfortable and the shades do a good job blocking the light. Bathroom also has a surprising amount of storage which was really convenient. It is a studio but the partition between the bed and living space does give it a good feeling of separation. The windows all look into the garden which is lovely, you would never know you were in Bridgeport! Lake access also a huge plus. I would highly recommend this location!

The inside of the studio is so lovely and well proportioned. The little kitchenette was just enough. The garden outside of the studio apartment is its own delight and then you have the little dock on the lake. The owners are kind and very respectful of your privacy. I highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Lakefront Cottage

This cottage is so nice! It is super clean and feels very cozy. I felt right at home. The location is perfect with grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance. It is a quick drive to both New Haven and Fairfield. The owner J is easy to get a hold of when you need anything! I would absolutely recommend this place to stay!

Serene setting close to everything

This cottage is perfect for someone who likes a cozy setting mixed with modern comforts. The full bath has a modern shower with great pressure. The sleeping area and living area are well appointed with period touches that invite you to make yourself at home, curl up, read a book, etc. It has its own entrance off of a beautiful garden, so you have plenty of privacy. Although if you want plenty of natural light in a beautiful surrounding, it has tons of windows, with shades that can be drawn as well. There is plenty of storage, but it never feels cluttered. You have a microwave, instant pot and tea, plus a refrigerator and freezer. The surroundings are a lake and gardens, and yet you are right off the main street through town, with grocery and restaurants in walking distance and a mall a short drive away. I loved the ceiling fans for bringing a nice breeze inside, but theres also an AC unit. All in all, it is a just a really soothing and inviting spot that feels homey in the best way.
