Welcoming place in Anchorage
I stayed with Diane and Mark from January to March 2025. The housing setup is perfect for a short-term traveling healthcare individual. It's located in a quiet, hidden gem of a neighborhood in Anchorage. The neighborhood is nice and walkable even in the winter. Although familiar with other parts of Alaska, having Diane and Mark as hosts made my stay here wonderful.
Lovely Stay
I stayed here for a little over 3 months and had a wonderful experience. Mark and Diane were lovely hosts, and I still keep in touch with them! They welcomed me into their home and assisted with anything I needed during my stay. Very cozy apartment with all the essentials! Would recommend!
Ideal basement space
I was in Anchorage for a summer job from June to September. Diane and Mark are wonderful hosts. They are respectful of privacy yet friendly and willing to connect if you're interested in getting to know them. They also shared some excellent recommendations for enjoying Anchorage and were always kind, considerate, and easy to communicate with. The location offers easy access to the Coastal Trail and is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood that feels secluded yet safe, with no noise from neighbors. It's also a quick drive (or bike ride in the summer months) to downtown Anchorage. The living space is very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and well-furnished. The bedrooms are cozy and set up for darkness, which is perfect during the summer months. The amenities were greattheres street parking during the summer, reliable heating, and a kitchenette thats well-equipped for preparing most meals. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay, and I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Anchorage.
