Property Was Fine, Deposit Disputes Were Not

Stayed here for a couple of months. The property was decent overall with good amenities (Wi-Fi, TV, EV charging), but parts were still under construction and the primary deck was unusable. The main issues came after move-out. My security deposit was reduced by $100 for a supposedly missing closet rod I was unaware of and $800 for deck damage that existed before I moved in. I disagreed with both charges. I also found the rent calculations inconsistent. The rental was advertised as $3,000/month plus $350 utilities, but prorated refunds were calculated using only the $3,000 base rent. After moving out, I contacted the landlord about retrieving personal items I accidentally left behind. I was told another tenant was staying there, but my request was never addressed. I attempted to resolve these concerns directly before posting this review, but we could not reach an agreement. If you stay here, document everything with photos at move-in and move-out.
