We stayed here for about three months and loved it! We always felt safe, the area is very walkable, and everything you need is nearby. The owners of the thrift store next door are so kind and great people. Jason always responded to us quickly and was a great host. Highly recommend!

Apartment in Ferndale

Amazing place. My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. In the heart of downtown, the location is amazing. Jason is very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend staying here.

Great Long-Term Stay Near Everything You Need

I stayed at this property for three months and had a great experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and very well set up for a longer stay. The sectional couch and large smart TV made it easy to relax, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the bathroom was modern and well designed. The king-size bed was especially comfortable. The location is excellent — close to the freeway, businesses, and only about 15 minutes from the Canadian border. The owner, Jason, was thoughtful and very responsive whenever I had questions. I’d happily stay here again.

Wonderful extended stay

After renting a room for two months in Ferndale this was a great find. All the details in the listing are spot on. You can literally walk or ride a bicycle anywhere because everything is right here. Two units are located behind Mystery Thrift store ( with wonderful owners that will help you in any way) and the back unit I stayed in had a nice pleasant country field you could enjoy morning coffee to and the sunrise. All of the amenities you could ask for. My neighbors were medical professionals and very kind which made my stay here wonderful. This was my home for four months. I'm also a hiker and nature enthusiast and one of my regular routes was 542 East. Only one hour and a half to Mount Baker ski area and Artist Ridge and of course 39 minutes to Canada etc. the beautiful PNW. Highly recommend ya ll

Wonderful host and great place

I am. Medical contract worker and stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. The unit is beautiful and very homey!! It is right off I-5 exit and near everything you need. Jason has been the best host I have stayed with (been traveling for 4 years). If you are looking for a safe, comfortable home away from home you should stay here!!!

Cozy living

I found this location after my first 3 months in Bellingham. The last place i was at was too noisy so finding this apt was a god sent! I actually stayed in the 1bdr next door to this listing and it was the best 3 months of peace and relaxation I needed. My landlord was so nice and responded so fast when needed. The apt is so immaculate..so cute, clean, modern and I felt right at home. It is located behind a thrift shop which never bothered me but the fact it was tucked away in the back made me feel safe. No one would know its there unless you came visit. My neighbor was my coworker so that made it nicewe respected each others privacy and quiet time. Its so centrally located that you could walk anywhere!! I loved that part!! That fact that I was a 20 min drive to the Canadian border was a big plusI visited 3 times!!! Also I was like 15min from my job at Peacehealth St Joseph in Bellingham. Perfect for me!! I would DEFINITELY rent this spot again! THANK YOU

Amazing Find!

So, I worked at Peace Health St. Joseph Hospital. I rented this place out starting in February of 2024, and extended my stay 3 times. I had thought this place was too good to be true, but it isn't just good, it's great. One thing about me is that I really check things out thoroughly On certain maps depending on your phone/computer; it'll show up as a closed down veterinary center. It is not, it is a cute store called Mystery Thrift that's only open 11-4. The landlord gave me all the contacts and was very open to making sure all the information was correct and valid. When they talk about location they are not kidding. I can walk everywhere, I can walk to the gym in not even 5 minutes (Armory Fitness) I suggest it! It's about 6 minutes to walk to downtown! The grocery store and CVS across the street. Although this is a central place to live I feel comfortable knowing it's tucked away! The bus stop is right across the street, never taken it but, knowing I can is a comfort! Also the surroundings; the riverwalk, the parks, and there's an apple tree and raspberries onsite, and you'll likely even see some deer. Let's not forget the best part is having a great landlord who is there for you 24/7.

Comfy and Safe

This was such a great find! Only a ten minute drive to get to PeaceHealth St Joseph Hospital. The woods coffee is my favorite place near by. During my stay everything was clean and organized. Communication with J was excellent if I ever had a question or needed help with something he always responded almost immediately and found a solution or gave me advice of where to go as a local. This place has everything you will need linens, kitchen utensils, washer and dryer, and home furniture so all you need is your clothes from home. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place near Bellingham. It is not far at all and ferndale is a quiet town and safe location. I'm so grateful to had found this place when I did its super cute and literally has everything you'll need.

Great place to stay!

The owner did a great job renovating this property with all new appliances, a stunning kitchen, and beautiful bathroom and bedrooms. I liked that everything was in walking distance. Downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, the gym, yoga, and all the beautiful parks. There is so much beauty there. I loved seeing the big snow capped mountain. The bus stop is right outside the property so I was able to take that into Bellingham when I wanted to. It was very safe and very easy to figure out. Also, very inexpensive. The only negative thing is that you can hear the train every day even though the property is not by the tracks. But when asking around I think all of Ferndale can hear the train and I got used to it pretty quickly so it wasn't a big deal. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will be staying here again!
