Not a good experience
I appreciate being able to share feedback, and Ill be respectful while also being honest. For context, I knew from the beginning that the landlord lived on the property and I signed the lease she provided. However, there were a couple issues that made the stay uncomfortable for me. The lease I signed on the 4th of the month states that rent is due on the 1st of the following month, with no prorated amount for the days remaining after signing. In addition, communication became an issue. I received passive-aggressive texts related to trash/recycling rules and also rent payment requests at odd hours. I tried to follow the policies and respond appropriately, but the tone of the messages made me feel uneasy in the home. Overall, I dont think this setup would feel comfortable for everyone. If youre considering a stay here, I'd recommend keeping these points in mind before booking.
Very nice!
I was only supposed to stay briefly, this extended into several months, but in no way was I compromised or uncomfortable. The location is incredible for shopping, eating, or taking the train into Philadelphia (the station is a block away)! Meredith was a gracious and welcoming hostess, I would recommend this property to anyone.
Great place to stay!!!
I stayed in this listing while I was on a short term travel assignment at the local hospital. The hostess was very kind and easy to work with. She even has a binder with the train schedule, restaurant suggestions and local spots to explore. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I definitely recommend this listing if youre ever in town and need a place to stay.
