Nurses beware.

We are a travel nurse duo, we went into contract with the landlord and were due to move in on 2/11. I sent the deposit, sent our work contracts, visited the house, and met the landlord. On 2/10 he emailed me about rent being due. I messaged that I would bring him a check in the morning when we did key exchange and move in, and that our contract states we do not take possession of the property untill 2/11. I also asked what that months pro-rated rent would be since we would be moving in a third of the way into the month. This was 9pm on 2/10. At 1am 2/11 (move in day) he emails me to tell me he is voiding the contract, and then has had no further communication. This also left us with no where to stay. We had to be out of our previous residence on 2/11 as well. To make this all worse, the landlord is VERY slow to reply, and exclusively replys in the late evening/middle of the night. In addition, the landlord changed the rent and the available dates while still in contract with us.
