Modern Midstay at Detroit (T12)

Disappointing apartment, good host

I stayed here for about a month. When I arrived, the unit had not been properly cleaned, and there was pet hair throughout. I ended up cleaning much of it myself, but without proper tools, I asked for cleaners to come back, and the host responded quickly. Unfortunately, even after a second cleaning, the place still wasn't clean, and the pet hair kept coming back. I also saw a mouse in the apartment. To the host's credit, they sent an exterminator promptly. Overall, I found the apartment uncomfortable to live in and asked to leave early, which the host worked with me on. The host was responsive throughout, and that's worth a star on its own. But the condition of the unit was the problem, and I wouldn't recommend it for a stay.

Great place for short/medium term stay

Perfect for one!

I was the first short-stay renter to live in this unit! I thought it was perfect for one person. It was so clean/neat when I arrived. The apartment also had all of the essentials/amenities/storage. I had a great natural light in the space, and a beautiful sunset. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they provided clean towels. W/D was in the building (shared) but I did not see on person there at the same time as me. I felt very safe using the secure keypad to get in/out of the apartment. I once had the power go out but Modern Midstay was very prompt in answering my maintenance request. I would just be weary about the walls, they are very thin and I could mostly hear my neighbor speaking at times or the dogs barking in the hallway. Other then that, I would recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a short stay in Denver!
