Apartment in Brooklyn, New York
Landlord Tenure: 2 years, 8 months
(Entire apartment ) Bed-Stuy represents something of a paradox: one of the largest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, it is practically a city within the borough, yet offers an intimate, slow-paced, small-town vibe. A sense of community pervades nearly every block, lined with historic brownstones, trees, and charming shops and restaurants.
Best Decision I made in NYC
The landlord is a good person who understands the struggles of being a new kid in this wild city. Renting from him was a fresh breath of humanity! The building mates are all good people. I felt safe with them looking out for me. We all looked out for each other with packages etc. It was nice to feel that community at home. Most days I was able to park my car directly in front of the building. Theres a park, community garden, and basketball court across the street. Amazing local food finds like Good ol Days are walking distance. E bikes are housed across the street, the J is two or three easy walking blocks away, and bus station is around the corner as well. The apartment itself is huge for NYC with an extremely nice king bed, full kitchen, washer dryer hookup, 2 TVs, bathroom with good hot water and its great for tall people. You also have access to the roof for sunset. This was the best decision I made in NYC! Thank you, Pariesh!
Awesome Place!
if youre looking for a cozy place to stay in a nice part of Brooklyn this is the place to go. Pariesh an awesome guy! The apartment is nice and clean. Stocked with cups, pots and pans of you wanna cook for yourself! Close to shops/restaurants and the subway. Ive enjoyed my stay a lot!
AMAZING apartment in Brooklyn
I dont even know where to begin everything about this apartment was exactly what I needed and more. Pariesh is a phenomenal and very helpful landlord who goes above and beyond for his tenants. He was always checking in to make sure things were going smoothly and to see if I needed anything. If there were any issues that arose, he was quick to fix them or have them fixed, although I didnt have many issues at all during my stay. He is frequently updating the apartment to make it even better for the guests. Its an older building, but has a lot of charm and newness that brings it to life. The location is great, near a main road with lots of restaurants and stores, but far enough away that its not too busy or loud. The apartment is also conveniently located near bus stops and the train, with a short commute into the city. Im going to miss this apartment and Parieshs quality as a landlord and only moved out as I switched from a travel work to permanent, and needed long term housing. I cannot recommend this place enough and would happily move back in at any time!!
