One Bed One Bath
I enjoyed my stay in the cozy one bed one bath unit during my travel assignment . Property is 10 min away from Yale New Haven Hospital and Downtown area. Lots of local food spots and known fast food chains in the area. Very quiet and also near light house park which is a popular sight see as well as a street over nice views of the river and good for morning runs or just peaceful vibes. 10/10 stay !
Wonderful host, great location!
Kimberly was very attentive and I felt like a roommate. Any questions that I had Kimberly was quick to respond. The room was very cozy and provided an area to set up my computer. It also had a sun room that was perfect for reading. The fenced back yard was perfect for my two puppies and allowed a place for them to run. The dog park near the home was nice also. Very convenient location to all areas of New Heaven. Kimberly made me feel at home and will stay there when my travels bring me back to CT.
Clean place in safe neighborhood
Kimberly was always quick to respond and helpful. The place was clean and in a safe neighborhood. About 12 mins drive to Yale Hospital.
Great Rental/ Location
Myself and my partner, both travel nurses, were in need of relocating from New Haven during our contract at Yale. Kim had a unit available for us, and we could not have been more fortunate. We were able to rent the smaller unit, which was perfect for our needs. The unit was furnished appropriately, and as advertised. The area in New Haven/ East Haven was perfect. The location was far enough away from the hospital to enjoy some separation, yet only a 10 minute drive. The neighborhood was safe, and we were at ease walking our dogs or running outside. K is a great property manager, who was exceedingly attentive to our needs. She was very accommodating, very responsive, and kind. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you K, for all of your help!
BEST EXPERIANCE EVER
I had an amazing experience living here! The place was always clean, and the landlord was super chill and understanding-made everything stress-free. The location is unbeatable, and the co-tenants were fantastic. If you're traveling for work, this is a no-brainer-everything you need in one place. Overall, 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great living situation!
Loved the convenience & location
After leaving my old apartment mid contract, Kimberly's place proved to be the perfect backup plan. She was a helpful yet unobtrusive landlord, and the location was ideal - safe, convenient, and quiet, thanks to respectful neighbors. Laundry was hassle-free, and although the exterior could use some improvement, the interior more than made up for it.
Mixed Experience: Cleanliness Issues but Great Amenities
Initially, K appeared very attentive and seemed to genuinely care about being a good landlord. When I moved in, the apartment was exceedingly dirty. Despite being charged a $150 cleaning fee, I had to ask her if the place had been cleaned. She assured me it had. I recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies, as she provides only the bare minimum. Additionally, consider bringing your own linens and bedspread, as the ones provided were stained. The house is quite old, so you can hear everything happening in the apartment above where K resides. When issues arise and you reach out with questions, her responses can be short. On a positive note, the washer and dryer, as well as the backyard, were excellent. I enjoyed spending my days off there with my dog. The neighborhood was also one of the safer areas in New Haven.
Just what EVERY nurse needs!
I needed somewhere to stay towards the end of my contract at a nearby hospital and I reached out to K, luckily she had her space available for the dates I needed. While staying at Ks home I had a pleasant experience! Her place was very stylish, modernized, well furnished, clean and equipped with necessities. I loved that she had washing machines in unit as that was a major need for me. I was also concerned with the lock on the thermostat but when I needed the temperature adjusted she had no issue with setting it to my liking, leaving the place warm and cozy.I also was happy to find that the neighborhood was a safe, friendly place while being a short drive to Yale and grocery stores. K was very quick and accommodating while responding to my concerns and was very easy to work with. I am beyond impressed with the hospitality! You can tell that she cares about tenants because of how she goes above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable. Would def book again!!!
has potential
Dont be fooled by the pictures, this home has wonderful potential but it is far from being ready for tenants. Every day something is going wrong; washers not working, bathroom ceiling leaking from a large water leak in the floor above, gas leak into the apartment from negligent contractors leaving the gas stove running, contractors hammering/drilling, heat breaking and having to use space heaters, locking the thermostat so I have no control over the temperature in the unit, the list goes on. Credit where credit is due; the owner responds to issues right away but has since become aggressive and disrespectful because I have dealt with daily issues for over a month and a half and Im exhausted. I have asked for a third party to be present in our text messages and she refused. The only issue I have cause was I was late on rent due to PayPal/venmo/zelle issues but that has since been resolved and hasnt equaled out to a quarter of the issues Ive dealt with since the day I got here.
