Great Stay

I had a great stay here. I spent a majority of my stay by myself so it felt like I had an entire house to myself. It was close to my job and Jorge was a great host. I stay in contact with Jorge still, hes a great guy and I would definitely stay here again.

I dont usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering a short-term stay near MPT. I stayed at Jorges place for a few months while taking courses, and while the location was ideal walking distance to the school and close to stores there were definitely some challenges. First, the photos in the listing arent up to date The house looks more worn in person, so if youre expecting it to match the photos exactly, you might be disappointed. The space has a much more lived-in feel than advertised. With 3 tenants and the landlord the house can feel cramped, especially in shared areas like the kitchen and fridge. I was lucky to have good roommates and we made it work. The $150 cleaning fee was hard to justify. I never saw a professional cleaning service during my stay, and common areas werent maintained regularly. Jorge does little yard work and light upkeep himself but for that price, I expected more the way he described. To be fair, Jorge did reduce my cleaning fee by half since, I kept my areas clean, which I appreciated. But even with the discount, the fee still felt high given the overall condition and lack of professional cleaning. He presents the house as a family-style setup and says hell help out or be flexible, especially for people working or studying but that wasnt my experience. When I needed a little understanding at the end of my stay, the tone shifted quickly to this is business. Jorge is on the property almost daily, often doing little yard work or talking on the phone outside, which makes it hard to feel relaxed or like you have any privacy. He sometimes says he wont be around or that hes giving tenants space, but in reality, hes almost always there. He starts cooking around 10pm and if you have the room by the kitchen, you hear it all. The fact He also has access to all room codes and has entered rooms without notice, felt invasive. There were also times when he had people over without telling anyone, which made things feel less private or secure. Unless it was about rent, communication was hit-or-miss. Support for anything else was hard to get. Overall: the location is convenient and I met good people in the house. But its not a traditional rental and not what the listing suggests. If youre looking for peace, privacy, and professionalism, this probably isnt it. Go in with eyes open and adjusted expectations

Great Place to Stay

Property Owner was very kind and easy to talk to. No major issues during the stay. Plenty of space to enjoy the house even with others. Perfect location and you can easily get anywhere you may need to go. The backyard was great to relax in despite traffic noise and daycare next door (not really noticeable from inside the house). Would 100% stay again when in the area!

I was very pleased with this property, where I recently stayed for a month. Impeccably furnished house. Great location close to las olas boulevard, restaurants, and beaches. The location is exceptional, good neighborhood, safe, and quiet. J was welcoming and provided everything I needed. He was always very concerned, present, and kind. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a short or long-term place to stay at

I rented a room with J for three months and it was an excellent experience. He was always very concerned, present, and kind. He responded quickly to my questions, he was always concerned about the cleanliness of the house and its maintenance. There was an occasion in which due to misuse of the AC one of the tenants caused the system to freeze and we were left without air conditioning. J quickly contacted a company to repair it and solved the problem quickly. The facilities are of a very good standard, fully furnished and with all the necessary amenities. The location is exceptional, good neighborhood, safe, and quiet. Absolutely recommended

The host is very friendly and accommodating, immediately making me feel comfortable and at ease. He went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable and ensure all my needs were met. The property has all the amenities one will need to have an enjoyable stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a short or long-term place to stay at. It truly felt like a home away from home.

This property was gorgeous. J was welcoming and provided everything we needed. Ample space, quiet environment, and all the amenities needed for a long term rental. 5/5. Would definitely rent again if I had the opportunity.
