"Downtown Urban Oasis" is accurate
I recently stayed in this two-bedroom spot in Charlottesville, and it turned out to be a real gem. The location is top-notch: almost equidistant to UVA and downtown, my car stayed safely parked in the driveway while I was out and about. The space is well-appointed, colorful, and included all the necessities for an extended stay. Despite the proximity to the city/Amtrak station, being next to Starr Hill Park with the birds/squirrels/rabbits made it feel more serene. I enjoyed spending time in the fenced in back yard-- I even saw a great number of meteors during the Geminids shower in December without having to leave the city. Also noteworthy was the warm and accommodating nature of the property owner. Their friendliness and responsiveness added a personal touch to the overall experience. L made me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. If you're on the lookout for a spot in Charlottesville that's equal parts cozy and cool, this is it.
