Walnut Creek Cottage, close to John Muir and Kaiser Hospitals

A lovely cottage!

This unit was exactly as described and perfect for our long term stay in Walnut Creek. It was clean, organized, and had lots of storage space. The guest handbook clearly explained everything we needed to know and was a great resource throughout our stay. The cottage’s location is close to the hospital we worked at, grocery stores, train station, walking trails, and shops. The unit has a good amount of privacy and we really appreciated the long driveway we could use. Dave and Lory were an absolute pleasure to rent from - so friendly, gracious, and promptly assisted us with any concerns. Their dog Riley can be as present or absent as you wish; my husband and I love dogs, so this brought some extra joy and fun to our days!

A True Home Away From Home

We stayed at this property for a little over 1.5years and it truly felt like home. The space was safe, clean, fully furnished, and exactly as described. One huge bonus: we had our own private driveway which meant no stress about street parking! Lory and Dave were incredible hosts--attentive, approachable, and always quick to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and responsiveness made all the difference. We can't forget Riley, their sweet chocolate lab. He's the friendliest dog you could meet. You never have to worry about barking just the occasional wagging tail and warm hello. There's also a gate separating the cottage and the backyard, so contact with Riley is optional. But with his personality, he's hard to resist. The location was convenient and safe, and the entire experience gave us peace of mind and stability. If you're a travel professional looking for a furnished space you can settle into, we can't recommend this property or these hosts highly enough.
