Welcoming and Comfortable Stay

I lived in Mir and Mandana's basement apartment for five months and it truly felt like home. M&M are the most wonderful hosts. They were kind, generous, and incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable even making me food. They were also amazingly welcoming to my two senior dogs which is rare with landlords and deeply appreciated. The yard was fantastic and perfect for them and having that outdoor space made a huge difference. The apartment itself was cozy and comfortable. I’m so grateful for my time here and would highly recommend Mir and Mandana's apartment to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming home.

Can we be neighbors forever!?

This couple has been two of the most caring people that I have ever met. Extremely caring and welcoming while always making sure that I was okay. They even agreed to let me bring my cat Pumpkin with me, which was the first time they took in a cat and it has been such a relief to have her with me. I made sure to clean daily to thank them. I came to Virginia for a work opportunity, and this listing was one of the first I applied for 3 months in advance. During my stay, I actually had gotten Covid, and I alerted both of them that I tested positive and needed to quarantine. Staying separated was easy since I have everything I need downstairs. They were so hospitable during that time that they cooked homemade meals twice to share with me! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience with a host, and I say that as being a true first time user of any housing request service. The neighborhood and neighbors around also are very nice, and I feel extremely safe around here as well.
