Far away, but close enough. Mountain Road is a gravel road. Monkton is a rural town of about 2000 inhabitants in 36 square miles. The town of Bristol, VT is just 7 miles south. BTV, the Burlington Airport is 20 miles and four stop lights to the north. The nights are very quiet, and deer visit almost daily. The stars on a clear night are amazing.
