Home away from Home If youre looking for a clean, comfy, well appointed house to call home for a while, I recommend this place. If you travel for work or just like to enjoy a different season away from home you will fall in love with this charming treasure. The owner, S, was very attentive and knowledgeable about this artsy area. Between I-5 and 99 E, this place is close to two large, beautiful parks and very close to Randall Childrens Hospital/Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. Its centrally located for quick access to downtown Portland to the south and Vancouver, WA to the north.

Charming, Cozy, Clean and Comfortable

Walking into this old world home felt very welcoming. It was spotless and smelled very clean upon initial entry which is aways a concern with a new unfamiliar property stay. The home has everything you need to settle in easy and start living. The colors, decor and overall vibe of the home are soothing and warm and the beds are very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The place was fully stocked with plenty of towels and linens to get us started. The lower level laundry area is large for catching up on your weekly laundry chores! The home's location is key for spending time on your days off in nearby Mississippi, Alberta Arts District & N. Williams Ave. hot spots in Portland. Great food, bars & shopping areas!

Amazing home in Portland

What a charming home! I loved staying here! I would definitely do it again when back in Portland. The attention to detail surpassed my expectations. The exterior is very well maintained, the courtyard was so warm and inviting, and a great way to start a day with coffee, or turn on the Edison bulb string lights at night, a nice table, with umbrella, or cozy Adorondak chairs, with a glass of wine. Walking into the house, I immediately felt at home, no corner left unturned. It was so clean, had updated heating and cooling, the kitchen was stocked with everything to make a great meal. The decor was cozy, warm and it shows that the owner Steve has pride in this property. The bonus was the close proximity to eateries, downtown, local hospitals, coffee shops, grocery shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and just like home

I was concerned to rent a home without seeing it nor knowing the area but the owner, having been a local since childhood, took the time to explain the area to me as well as the home amenities and such. Upon arrival, the area and home exceeded my expectations. It was very close to all the fun neighborhoods, restaurants, & shopping. It was also very close to downtown, just a short uber which was also very easy. The home was extremely clean and comfortable and I could easily see living here as my personal home. The owner Steve was amazing and quick to respond anytime I had a question. I plan to come back and stay in this home. Highly recommend!!
