This lovely home was built in 1920, and sits way back from the street. The driveway is long. Lots of trees and wildlife on the property. The back yard is like a park. The deck is perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. I even have a vegetable garden.
Another thing to note is that I have cats.
Space
Please be a minimalist, please limit the amount of stuff you bring into the room. Too much clutter can be a hazard in my home.

Quiet, Comfy, Clean, Safe
I couldn't find this listing to leave a review for a long time....Now, that I found it, I must say that Laura was an amazing host!!! Her place was quiet, comfy, clean, safe and affordable. I enjoyed her cats, esp the fluffy white cat, who would be in my room waiting for me if I left my door unlocked. Although, I did my own laundry at a local Laundrymat, Laura did offer & provide in home laundry service & space to prepare & store your food if needed. Overall great place to live during your assignment. I recommend you stay here if you're working at Mercy, it's right up the street!

Great experience
Laura made my experience in Springfield very enjoyable. Her pets made me feel less lonely and she is great about making the environment very homey. Laura will be someone I will stay in contact with for life.
