Private room in Newly renovated apartments near the hospital

Absolutely recommend this place

I stayed in the place for 9months and enjoyed every bit of it. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The unit is very comfortable for me and my room is equipped with things that get you relaxed after your shift. I recommend you share the unit with a person with opposite shift. The landlady Sheila, very responsive to needs, and timely communicate updates to you. She is very knowledgeable and understanding.

The most uncomfortable and irritating stay thus far

After 3 days of driving, I arrived to a building with boarded windows, which was never disclosed and not shown in photos. The apartment was dirty upon arrival floors with dead bugs, an unclean bathroom, and dust throughout. The dresser has a foul odor of fish. Heating is inadequate, the apartment is freezing, water pressure drops if another tenant uses water, and laundry has been unavailable. The biggest issue has been safety and privacy. The maintenance man repeatedly entered the apartment with little to no notice, including being at my bedroom doorway at night without a clear timeframe given. Non-emergency entries often occurred with only minutes to an hour of notice, despite repeated objections. My concerns were largely ignored unless rent was involved. The property feels hastily put together for traveling professionals without being properly maintained. Due to ongoing discomfort, safety concerns, and lack of responsiveness, I am leaving early and cannot recommend the property.
