Just no - don't make the mistake of staying here

DONT STAY HERE .**People that aren't clean, would never have noticed the problems that I did - there are holes in the basement wall, bags around the pipes... Other people probably gave him a good review because he ASKS people for it. People probably followed his rules because he was very pushy. When my washing machine broke, I was blamed for it and he did not come fix it in a timely manner. I soaked up all of the water in the basement for over 24 hours before he came. There was 3 inches of water in the basement for almost 24 hours. I sent over TEN maintenance request to him and he ignored all of them. There were hairs and crumbs in my bed, dust caked in all of the vents, mice poop all around, not to mention multiple people in the community having access to the basement with SHARED KEYS. - HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!! He claims he had a wife and child which I don't believe. DONT STAY HERE!!!!!! I had to call the cops 3 times in one week

Our property undergoes regular inspections, and any concerns reported by our residents are addressed promptly. As for the washing machine, the one you used was not assigned to your unit, but we still ensured it was repaired the next day. The water you mentioned was not close to 3 inches deepit was simply a small puddle that could easily have been cleaned with a towel. Another resident, who witnessed the situation, assured me that it was extremely minor and advised that my response the following morning would be perfectly acceptable, given the minimal nature of the issue. Regarding the cleanliness issues, I take such matters seriously. There was no evidence of mice or mouse droppings in the basement or the apartment. As for the hair and crumbs you mentioned, my cleaner was scheduled to address those concerns, but you unfortunately refused the assistance. We strive to ensure every unit is clean and comfortable, and we handle all cleaning requests promptly when reported. In terms of the other reviews you referenced, Id like to clarify that the positive reviews from other residents are genuine. Our residents take time out of their busy schedules to share their experiences and are not pressured or forced to leave reviews. They speak to the quality of service and care we provide, and their feedback is valuable to us in continuing to improve our service. Regarding the claims about stolen money, this is simply not true. We mutually agreed to end your stay early, and you were refunded at the time of the final walkthrough. In fact, I incurred a financial loss due to your early departure, so the accusation of theft is entirely unfounded. Regarding the personal comments about my family, I do have a wonderful wife and son, which you know from speaking with my wife on the phone and hearing my son in the background during your stay. It's disappointing to see such personal attacks when you had direct interactions with them. Lastly, the police were called during a routine cleaning visit and maintenance check, which was scheduled in advance to help address some of your concerns. Its unfortunate that things escalated to that point, especially since the cleaner was only there to assist. The shared basement space, as discussed during your walkthrough, is for the use of all residents for storage and laundry. It is not open to the public and is only accessible to those living in the building, as clearly communicated. I understand that youve been going through a challenging time personally, unrelated to the apartment. Another resident even apologized on your behalf due to the way you were acting during your stay, and this is when I learned about the personal difficulties you were experiencing. While I empathize with your situation, the claims in your review are misleading and dont reflect the true nature of what occurred. Excellent stay

We spent entire summer in here. The house is in a perfect and quiet location. The neighbourhood was really clean and safe. House was clean. All of the amenities were in a perfect condition and more than enough for an extended stay. Laundary machines were good, kitchen was furnished with best equipments. Beds and the coach in living room were extra comfy. I would rate 10/10 for this aparment. The most charming part was the private and spacious driveway. Doug is a fabolous lanlord. He intervened to any inquires swiftly. If I visit pittsburgh again, I know definitely where to stay.

Amazing !!

Due to a sudden change of business plans, I did not actually need the rental at Dougs place, however, the interactions with him were fantastic and he is a stand up guy. Should I need placement in the Pittsburgh area again, I will immediately be contacting D. Highly recommend.

Charming furnished apartment near downtown Pittsburgh

It was an amazing stay! D is a Top tier landlord who was always helpful and quick to respond. Property is in a very safe residential area and close to downtown. Having your own personal parking (driveway) is a bonus The house is very clean and the decor of the home gives you a home away from home type of vibe. It has all the amenities one would need for an extended stay. I would definitely stay here again should I ever come back to Pittsburgh.
