NOT AS IT APPEARS!

We rented this property intending to stay long term but had to vacate shortly after arriving due to several concerns. The biggest issue was safety. We were told the area was safe, but during our stay there were multiple police visits involving a neighboring property, which made us feel uncomfortable remaining there. We also had concerns with the condition of the home. The bed frame and mattress were unstable and appeared close to breaking, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, we both experienced allergy symptoms and found the air filter appeared not to have been changed in quite some time. Another concern was the deposit. The listing indicated a much smaller deposit than what we were charged, and despite leaving early due to these issues, our $1,000 deposit has not been refunded. We recommend future renters ask detailed questions about safety, the neighborhood, and the condition of the furnishings before booking.

A great option

Early in September, I needed somewhere for my daughter and I to land and found the Designer Digs was available, ideally located, and a perfect layout. Catherine was very accommodating, responsive and easy to work with. The house is great - layout is as described and very nicely decorated.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful extended stay at this exceptional property. Catherine's place is well furnished and located on a quiet culdesac that is easily accessed from the major roads in the area. If we ever need a place in the area in the future, we would not hesitate to rent from her again!
