The apartment was great, my experience was not

The apartment is above the landlord's living room and across the hall from the master bedroom. They hear everything you do, and vice versa. I received several noise complaints and adapted per their suggestions. I further received more complaints for cooking and cleaning. Landlord stated my dwelling caused difficulty being comfortable in their own home and sleeping. The landlord stated they'd accommodate me if I was uncomfortable and hoped I'd do the same. I suggested talking in person for a solution, no response. The landlord owns two cats, also not in listing. I had to watch when entering and leaving to not let them outside. They ran into the apartment several times while leaving for work. The landlord entered the apartment without permission. While at work the landlord messaged me stating they, "need to enter the apartment to drop off some blankets and a small vacuum for the couch. Just a heads up...". I never used or asked for these items.

Where do I start? The apartment itself is amazing, it had everything I needed and more. It's amazing how they were able to put it all together. The hosts, Colleen and Taggert, are both incredibly nice and very responsive. It took me less than 10 minutes to get to SLUH every day, and street parking was as always available. I would definitely stay again.

I have to say this is one of the best places I've stayed. It is in a great location near SLUH in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. What I liked the most was the communication from the landlords. They answered all questions which made my stay very comfortable. Super comfy bed, nice linens and towels. Everything is provided from dishes to washer machine detergent. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Definitely would recommend!
