Modern apt w/ great landlord

I stayed in this sunny garden-level private flat for 3 months in 2025. The flat is modern with clean, updated furnishings and laundry facilities. The house was very quiet. Location was convenient to Waverley Sq and nearby parks/walking trails. Landlord was terrific and easy to work with. It was a great stay - highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

My boyfriend and I lived the basement air BNB unit for a little over a month and had an amazing time there. The location is very close (walkable) to the Waverly Station commuter rail that goes into Boston, and not too far from the T (red line). The apartment was beautifully furnished when we arrived, including a good sized pull out couch if guests were to visit. The backyard had a grill that we were allowed to use for cookouts, and a hot tub that we could use as long as took care of it and followed the rules. The kitchen had all of the utensils and gadgets we would have needed for a longer stay (even a rice cooker)! The washing machine & dryer are located right outside of the basement room and is shared, but super convenient to use. Overall, the owners became like our second parents and made sure we were as comfortable as possible during our stay. They are both very well-travelled and amazing people! We would 100% stay with them again in the future.

amazing stay! (private room)

i had a wonderful time staying at the private room/bathroom unit in the month of june 2024 and would highly recommend it for the following reasons: nice room- clean private room with fingerprint/keypad lock, comfortable bed, tv with hdmi and roku, desk and chair, closet. private bathroom too. amazing amenities- fast internet, private fridge, every cooking device/utensil you would need. great people- very nice people, felt like a family for me when i was living there. always offered to help with anything, picked me up from airport, i had dinner with them a few times. perfect location- walkable to mclean hospital (there is also a nice shortcut trail thru the woods to the hospital too), supermarket, barber, cafe, and restaurants. i did not need a car. i did not live in the garden appartment unit, but got to tour it. that unit was also very nice with a private entrance, living room, bathroom, and bedroom with TV and everything needed as well.

Waltham Gem

The warm, charming property offers close proximity to public transportation, within walking distance of the railway or bus service. It's a quaint town. The area has a grocery store and two coffee shops located near public transportation. The lovely Beaver Brook Reservation is across the street with paved trails, flowing streams, and tennis courts. A dog park, too. The Waverly Oaks Athletic Club is also across the street, and Planet Fitness is nearby. The area is a runner's dream. Bentley University is a 15-20 minute run from the house. The room is charming and very clean. The private bath is on the first floor and offers a ceiling sunlamp. The kitchen offers all that is needed for a short-term and a private refrigerator is included. A hot tub is ready for you! The landlady is on the premises and a wealth of knowledge speaking three languages. You are made to feel at home away from home.
