Fantastic spot close to everything
I initially rented this property for 3 months and extended an extra 2 months. I LOVED it! It's so close to all the great spots in Fells and it felt like a home. I found street parking to be fairly easy, especially once you figure out how and when parking enforcement tickets. On Saturdays, the Fells Point Farmers market is literally right outside the door on the square. All the cool bars on Thames St are steps away and Whole Foods is an easy 4 block walk (Pro tip: have your Amazon deliveries sent there. You'll thank me later.). I admit, I was concerned about noise levels when I first got there, but never once had a problem. Corine and Johnny are excellent landlords and were available on a moment's notice any time I needed them; I can't say enough great things about them!
Great Location
Great location! One block off the harbor and a 20 min walk/5 min drive to Hopkins. Corine and Johnny were very responsive and easy to work with. Apartment was simple, cute, and effective for what I needed. The stairs from the second to third floor could be a little tricky, yet there's not too much that could be done to help with that, just the nature of spiral staircase. Would consider renting from them again if the opportunity presented!
RAT in the apartment
I have been debating writing a review but I feel like potential tenants should know my experience. Signed a 3 month lease with this property, paid first month + deposit. 2 days into the apartment there was a rat crawling around the kitchen. There are a lot of bars around restaurants around, so I can understand the challenges. Landlord did tried taking care of the matter but I just didnt feel comfortable for myself or my dog. Landlord basically said I was lucky she allowed me to break the lease and didnt refund me a deposit even though I left because of a sanitation issue not of my doing. So I pretty much stayed here for a week and a half and paid the landlord to treat the rat problem she said has never happened before. Good luck.
