An Amazing 4.5-Month Stay During Our HPU Semester Abroad

We stayed here for 4.5 months during our HPU semester abroad and couldnt have imagined a better place. The apartment is exactly as described, very well equipped, and perfect for a long stay. We were two people and truly appreciated having two separate bedrooms and two private bathrooms. The location is unbeatable: right in downtown, just a short walk to HPU, with excellent bus connections to Ala Moana and Waikiki. Communication with Nathaniel was outstanding - always quick, kind, and understanding. The building itself is amazing: friendly neighborhood gatherings, 24/7 security at the parking lot, a beautiful pool, and a great BBQ area. The view of the water from the balcony was a daily highlight. We felt at home from day one and highly recommend staying here.

What a honolulu Welcoming!

this was my second time for a work trip for from august To september and I couldnt have asked for better accommodations than Nathaniel. He knew when to give me space, when to entertain, and was courteous and generous enough to cook after long work days. We went hiking when I had some down time and Remi is just a cuddle bear to be around.. I didnt just go for a work trip, i gained family!!!

Best place to stay!

Nate was a great person to stay with and I loved Remi (his dog) and his friends! The room was perfect for a short stay. Comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom, laundry basket and small chest/dresser in the closet for extra space. Nate was extremely nice and I was very comfortable staying in his condo. The condo has amazing security and a key tag for only residents to get inside. Typical noise for living downtown, but I had absolutely no issues sleeping at night! I went out with his friends quite often and everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. Remi is the sweetest dog and very well trained, I would've taken him home with me if I could. Being a young girl in college I was a little iffy about where I was going to stay for my summer internship, but I am so so glad I chose to stay here! I could go on and on about how great my stay was. Great location, condo, roommate, friends, etc.

Accommodating host, convenient location

N was an excellent host - he was easy to communicate with, helpful, accommodating, and considerate (he'd alert me/ask me if okay his friends were coming over). His dog Remington was wonderful - cuddly, playful, hardly barked. Pros: -In town - very close to hospitals, restaurants -Private bathroom - small but functional -Central AC (I ran cold but was fine with a sweatshirt and Nate had an electric blanket) -Good closet space -Laundry room downstairs clean, easy to use, fast (new machines), not sketchy -Affordable Cons: -Road/car noise (a block away from a major road, garage exit noises) - I bought a white noise machine (and left it in the room) -A little musty smell (but where in Hawaii isn't) -Mild smoke smells, but rarely (FYI if you've got asthma) -Street parking (I got a few parking tickets but cheaper than renting a garage stall)

A welcoming and easy Hawaii experience

My stay at N's place could not have gone better. Communication was great leading up to move and when I arrived he had everything in order and the place was super clean. My room was large with plenty of closet space and my own personal bathroom right next to my bedroom was stocked with soaps, cleaning supplies, and all the basics I needed. While super friendly and down for a chat or meal, he also respected my space and the apartment never felt crowded or uncomfortable. He made sure my room and space were my private areas and I always felt safe and respected. I have had a lot of roommates in my time as I travel and move a lot but N is definately one of the chillest, most easy to live with one. His dog R is such a great addition too. I love dogs and he was very friendly and I was given the green light to be his official treat giver which was so great and R is very well behaved too and never ruined anything and was taught to respect my space too! Would reccommend 100%!
