2026 Summer
This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to stay at Kim's property, and I'm so glad my roommate and I chose this place. The location was fantastic, with the river just a few minutes' walk away and downtown also within easy walking distance, making it a great spot for both relaxing during the day and finding things to do at night. Kim was an incredible host, very accommodating, welcoming, and always checking in to make sure everything was going well and that everything in the house was working properly. It really made the experience feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We had an amazing summer, and I already miss it!
Amazing Stay!
Just finished up a summer here and it was incredible. The location of the house was superb, nestled between downtown and the river. It was also super clean and the landlord is extremely friendly. I highly recommend staying here! Thanks Kim!
Idyllic Bend Bungalow steps from River
This sweet bungalow is Bend, Oregon at its best. Quiet, just steps to Deschutes River walking trail and swimming if preferred. The front deck afforded a month of fresh air, solitude, and even a friendship with a sparrow nesting in an adjacent spruce tree. If you'd like to see original Bend, as it existed prior to the arrival of Disneyland, traffic, and endless musical venue attendance, here's your chance. The owner, Kim, is an ideal hostess with assistance if wanted and also a sensitivity to respect your privacy. She's very cool. Highest compliments and recommendation.
Super livable place, great location, great host
The host is communicative, kind, and has done an amazing job creating a cozy space thats very livable! And its literally a block from the river! Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Good to note that the host lives on the property and you share a wall, laundry, and back area never had any issues, but were also easy going and early sleepers. We had a phenomenal stay only wish was that it could have been longer! Was perfect for two active people, great location to bike to anywhere in town (3 minute ride to the nearest coffee shop, 10 minute walk), and situated well to easily make it to mt bachelor or smith rock when you do need to drive.
Awesome Bend Stay
This is an awesome property in Bend that is right by the river. We work from home and this fit all our needs with an office and plenty of room for both of us. The location is unbeatable and we walked everywhere.
Comfy home at an amazing location!
My partner and I stayed here for two months over the summer, and we LOVED our time here. The house is comfy with plenty of space for both of us to live and work, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The most amazing part about the house is the covered porch and the proximity to the river just a block away! We took regular afternoon and weekend swims, and we were able to easily follow the river path to downtown Bend in 10 minutes (walking) or 3 minutes (biking). The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and it's close to everything. The owner lives in a separated part of the home and was extremely accommodating, while giving us plenty of privacy. We already can't wait to come back and stay again!
