A great 3 month stay
The property owner is a genuinely nice person. It is in a Wardman style row home neighborhood and both neighbors are owners with families who are also genuinely nice. Given that this is the owner's home, you definitely do NOT feel as if you are in a rental property/neighborhood. Very nice bathroom remodels, a really comfortable couch in front of a big TV, a nice new WasherDryer, etc. There are lots of kids in the neighborhood, people out walking their dogs, etc. There is ALWAYS parking within a block. You are one block either way from two different sets of buses into the district, which gives you great commute options. The immediate locale has a really nice Spanish restaurant, a barbershop, a grade A coffee place, and a popular breakfast spot. You are also a quick walk to the big park. Great value, fantastic stay, highly recommend.
