Very comfortable house in great location
My wife and I lived in Kathleens house for three months this past summer while our own house on the same street was being renovated. It certainly met our needs. It is well appointed, clean, quiet and functional. She provides all the basic requirements for comfortable living and if something is missing or broken or not quite right, she is always available and responsive. She wants your stay to be as carefree as possible. Is the house perfect? No. It is an older home and many original features remain and can be quirky, but on the whole, they made little difference to us given all the positives. The bed, and there are three to choose from, was comfortable and the pull-down shades in the bedroom made the room darker than we have at our own home. During the hottest summer on record, the AC worked like a champ and she just recently installed a new HVAC system that promises the same. The fenced-in backyard is a plus as is the location if you like the convenience of a free bus service, access to walking and bicycling trails and just a 10-15 minutes drive to campus and downtown, grocery stores, restaurants, the public library and entertainment.
