Location!

The location can NOT be better! My husband and I stayed here for 5 months while I was on contract. Overall we really enjoyed out stay! Pros: Location, we walked every day to almost everywhere; wharf, coastal trail, dinner, ice cream, coffee shop, aquarium, grocery store (that was a big climb up the hill, but doable) and the sea shore. Quiet location and structure; we hardly ever heard anything from outside unless the windows were open. The little cottage is well appointed with good quality appliances and comfortable bedding and linens. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. the shower is large and beautiful! feels like a spa treatment each day. Cons: no door between the living space and the bedroom (my husband has to work at night and we had to figure out how he could work and I could sleep without a physical barrier). Only TV is in the bedroom. Again, overall, a very nice stay! Our favorite part was being able to walk to anything we needed/wanted.

4 Months in Monterey

I stayed here for almost 4 months while on a travel assignment. While I was commuting about an hour + to my hospital in Hollister It was so worth it to stay in Monterey. Very comfortable little place, good quality furnishings/appliances. It was a perfect size with all the amenities you need. It is essentially a guest house to the main house but felt very private and safe. I loved walking down by the water, getting a fresh swordfish ceaser salad from Sea Harvest and highly recommend Monterey core fit boutique gym. All walkable. I had a great stay :)
