This is an adorable 1 bedroom/1bath apartment (right side of duplex). It was renovated Sept of '23. Everything new except bathtub. Comfy couch and bed. It is minutes to I70, and located off NW outer road I70. Stadium road is right down the street. All hospitals are 4-5 miles away.There is a park right down the street to walk your dogs.

Beware! Rodents and more

Less than 1 week in, I informed Jackie that i had mice. She did hand me mouse traps and PB to bait and set. 2 weeks later I found a chasm behind the stove, the entire size of the stove going to the crawlspace. Because it had been 3 weeks since I was able to relax or sleep, I moved out. She had no urgency to fix anything. She refuses to refund the deposit. The pictures to her units are mixed up, as in the best ones from her various rentals are put together in one listing. If I could attach pictures, I would. DO NOT RENT FROM JACKIE.

Kelly was not an easy traveler to deal with. This is an adorable small 1 bedroom 1 bath that 99% of guests love. rated a "guest favorite" on another platform. She first complained about the water heater noise kicking on. it kept her up all night, no sleep from her "life saving" job, her own words. my contractor put insulation around it. first complaint I've got on that in the 1 years it's been open. she wasn't satisfied. Then I believe it was a week later she said she heard a mouse. it was very very cold, like 5outside. sometimes mice do get in in EVERY HOUSE. it was thanksgiving so I was out of town but brought her traps the next day. before that I called my pest control company Bug Out to see if he could get over there. but it was going to be a week out due to holiday. then I went to get her the traps. She still wasn't happy and left in 2 days. we caught one mouse in 2 weeks after she left. I did not give her deposit back because she broke the lease. I tried extremely hard to rectify the problem. I'm pretty sure even if I gave her deposit back, she would've still rated me a 1 star. The current tenant Sandy next door on other side of duplex has seen zero pests including mice. She really likes it there and she's actually extending her contract and is staying another 3 months. That should tell the future guests that I run great properties. I would never rent to Kelli again. it is not worth the stress. I will be opening up another furnished finder listing for this exact location with the pictures. to be transparent, I have 1 listing and I use it for all 4 units I have at 2 duplexes. nothing shady, just financially smart!! I will be eating this gal for future hosts to be aware. I'm really disappointed because it has affected my business to get this unit rented due to this rating. I tried to rectify problem immediately and I did 1 day after she left. she didn't even wait for traps to work!!

Spread too thin

I'm a travel nurse at University hospital. I signed a contract for one side of a duplex. The day prior to arrival, Jackie asked if I would be opposed to the adjacent unit because the unit signed for wasn't ready. I agreed. Upon arrival, the grass was about knee high on me (5ft5in) & there was a refrigerator in the back yard. I found a pair of dirty socks under the bed. I was informed she would need to spray for roaches 4 days into my 3 month stay, the next day. I requested a refund as I was forced to leave. I did get a refund but was refused the cleaning fee refund. Manager is spread too thin to provide quality for travel health care professionals.

I am just now seeing this 1 star... Emily was supposed to stay in right side of duplex. unfortunately the prior long term tenant was not the cleanest and left little critters behind..I immediately called my pest control company Bug out and had them treat immediately upon evidence of them. but the day Emily was to move in, I still saw live ones that pest guy said it would take couple weeks. I asked her if she would mind moving into the adorable clean left side. she agreed. he then suggested spraying the left side to make sure every area was treated, although Emily said she never saw any at all. I gave her the option of saying no, but she chose to leave. I immediately refunded her money. I'd have to look at the cleaning fee refund, not sure. I totally understand her position. Now, reflecting back, I never should've shown either property until I knew everything was clean. that is the last thing I want is a bad review!!! I pride myself in keeping our 4 units nicely decorated, very clean and cozy for our traveling professionals. And August is the busiest month of the year with turning 25 properties to new tenants. I should've waited to rent both units a month later. I have learned my lesson. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience I imposed on Emily.

Great quiet space

This was a perfect quiet place to stay while I was working at University of MO hospital for 13 weeks. It was an easy commute to work and lots of places to stop for food on the route home after work. Easy access to I-70 and nearby shopping for food and daily supplies. It is on a quiet neighborhood street where I felt safe by myself with my cat. I would recommend for any traveler needing a place.

This was a good experisnce here

This place was super cute and very homey and close to Missouri University. The landlord was very attentive and responsive. She is just a sweetheart. I definitely recommend!!
